Key Responsibilities include:

* Implementation of front-end application templates for a high availability, high volume web-based application.
* Work closely with a cross-functional team (UI design, engineering, and product management), using UI and functional spec/prototypes as input.
* Translate business requirements provided by Product Marketing into consumer facing UI designs.
* Apply an understanding of the inherent limitations of tools and technologies and suggest appropriate trade-offs.
* Facilitate and/or communicate design conversations with Product Marketing.
* Ensure all designs are documented and reviewed.
* Participate in reviews of peer designs.
* Identify and fix problem areas in application.
* Review improvements suggested by team members and clear with Product Marketing.
* Drive UI design and usability innovation

The ideal candidate for this position should have the following:

* Proven history delivering consumer facing scalable web applications.
* Passion for UI and creating captivating user experiences.
* 3+ years experience with the software development cycle: product specification, design, implementation, qa, release.
* 2+ years experience with XML/XSL or equivalent.
* Design and documentation of front-end projects of various scopes
* Experience working with product management in creating intuitive and cutting edge Web 2.0 interfaces
* Deep experience with web browser technologies, especially DHTML, JavaScript, AJAX, and CSS
* The ability to collaborate with peers in engineering and marketing as part of a development team, and to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
* Bachelors' in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* Perform all tasks with an awareness of business timelines.
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
