Hackers, designers, and coders of all ilk, come to the Cereal Hackathon on June 2-3 at the Sacramento Press office.
What is a hackathon? Start with an idea, form a team, and then start a marathon coding session to turn your idea into a working product. Each team presents their completed project and judges pick their favorites for prizes. Some teams build new products and companies. Some build applications for social good. Some just build a fun hack. It doesn't matter what you create, the fun is in meeting new people and turning crazy ideas into life.
The hackathon costs $40 to attend ($35 for students), and if you use the promo code HACK4LIFE you can get $10 off.
